In the summer of 1985 I was on the faculty at Cazadero music camp. The most important occurence of this experience was meeting Mtafiti (also on staff there) and realizing that we were kindred spirits musically.
In 1989, when I formed DON MOORS & THEN SOME he was my first - and only - choice for the reed slot.
A fantastic musician and all around great human being, we lost touch while he was out of state (getting a graduate degree) but we've hooked back up now and will be doing something together again soon.
